The 网络学习 Department supports efforts to provide high-quality online education and support services to our diverse population of learners through innovative technology resources. We facilitate the development, 设计, implementation and management of electronic resources in partnership with faculty and staff.

Specific services include:

  • Providing effective training for learners and faculty on the use of our Desire2Learn (D2L) Learning Management System.
  • Providing informational resources and support services for learners.
  • Identifying and addressing faculty teaching needs.
  • Identifying and addressing learner needs.
  • Providing skilled instructional 设计ers to assist faculty in developing quality courses.
  • Encouraging the sharing of effective technology-enhanced teaching and learning practices with faculty.

网络学习 courses require students to be goal-oriented independent learners who are self-disciplined. Not all students are comfortable with 网络学习 courses. Please take the assessment below to see is online learning is for you.

How to Access SmarterMeasure

To access the SmarterMeasure Assessment please go to http://templejc.smartermeasure.com and log in using the following:

You can take the SmarterMeasure assessment more than once.

Computer Requirements for Desire2Learn (D2L) Courses

寺大学 strongly recommends learners have regular access to a computer with reliable internet connectivity when registering for an online and/or hybrid course. If you plan on using a personal computer please refer to the Technology Survival Guide.

Access to Desire2Learn (D2L) System

First-time students will not have access to the Desire2Learn (D2L) system until 6 a.m. the first day of class. Returning D2L students will have access to the D2L system, but will not see their courses until 6 a.m. the first day of class.
